The event of groundbreaking ceremony of Hoa Sen Yen Bai Steel Pipe Plant on 2017 March.

Yen Bai leaders worked with investors such as: DIC group about project on contructing sport –tourism – resort complex in Van Hoi; with Hanoi General Import Export Joint Stock Company to seek investment and exploitation opportunity in raw materials for paper production; with Solkiss Company, Ltd on solar energy project on Thac Ba lake; with Joint Venture Hung Vuong Import - Export and Construction Joint Stock Company and DELTA ELECTRONIC GERMANY company on Kinetic Project in Yen Binh District.

Especially, Yen Bai leaders held an Investment promotion conference into Yen Bai in Seoul, Korea with attendance of more 150 Korean enterprises. At the conference, Yen Bai province has signed memorandum of cooperation with 03 enterprises.

The event of groundbreaking ceremony of Hoa Sen Yen Bai Steel Pipe Plant on 2017 March was a positive mark in attracting investment. Once put into operation, Hoa Sen Steel Pipe Factory is expected to contribute to improving production capacity and ability to supply products to the northern provinces and create jobs for 400 people.

In the first three months of 2017, Yen Bai has issued investment decisions for 10 projects (up 08 projects against the same period) with the total registered capital of nearly VND9 trillion.

The province also issued investment certificates for 03 projects, withdrew investment certificates of 10 projects and  issued business registration certificates for 34 newly established enterprises.
