Yen Bai department of Industry and Trade signed cooperation with the enterprises

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade of Yen Bai Province introduced the potentials, strengths of the province, emphasizing the source of raw materials for agricultural, forestry processing industry and mineral for development of mining industry.

Yen Bai has the second largest tea area in the country with more than 10,000 hectares, harvesting 90,000 tons of fresh tea leaves each year, and 400-year-old Shan tea area in Suoi Giang commune, Van Chan district, annually harvesting 50-70 tons of dried tea.

Yen Bai also has the largest area of ​​cinnamon and the best quality with an area of ​​30 thousand hectares, the yield of 5 thousand tons of dried cinnamon per year; the area of ​​cassava in the province is about 15 thousand hectares, harvesting nearly 300 thousand tons of fresh cassava roots and processed mainly into cassava starch with nearly 50 thousand tons per year ...

In recent years, the province Yen Bai has many preferential mechanisms and policies to attract investment enterprises, such as tax exemption, land rent, shorten the time of licensing construction and licensing for foreign workers; investment in infrastructure, transportation, electricity, water ...  which contributes to attract many large projects of investors from Korea, India, Japan and China. The leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade hoped that after this conference, Yen Bai and Hekou enterprises would establish and develop long-term, reliable and effective partnerships.

At the conference, enterprises in two provinces provided information about their potentials and key products, exchanged and shared about the advantages and disadvantages in production and business as well as the demand for output, the quality of products, the need to find partners in the consumption of agricultural products, such as cinnamon oil, cassava starch, fruits, tea and white marble products. At the same time, the business community of Yen Bai, Lao Cai and Hekou wish to promote more cooperation and trade promotion programs on the basis of reliable cooperation, friendly, harmony of interests and lawfulness.

Yen Bai enterprises also expect the Chinese to study and improve the mechanism of import and export of agricultural products of Vietnam so that businesses in Vietnam in general and Yen Bai in particular are more and more favorable, secure and effective in business and operations.

Leaders of Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai province also informed about import and export policies of Vietnam and China, and emphasized that it would strengthen cooperation with Chinese authorities in time to solve difficulties, obstacles for businesses in Yen Bai province when carrying out investment cooperation activities with Chinese enterprises.

At the conference, there were 8 memorandums of understanding signed between agencies and enterprises focusing on fields such as minerals, cassava starch, cinnamon essential oil.
