Currently, Yen Bai city manages 870 organizations, businesses and cooperatives and has 8,844 production and business households in the area. In 2018, enterprises, cooperatives and production and business households overcame all difficulties and actively linked with domestic and foreign investors to seek markets, develop stably, step by step contribute to the socio-economic development of the city, contributing to completing the target of State budget revenue in the area in 2018 reached nearly VND 492 billion, exceeding 110% of the provincial plan. Enterprises in the city created stable jobs for nearly 18,500 people, the number of workers in non-agricultural individual economic establishments was estimated at over 13,000 people.
