In the framework of local cooperation programs between Vietnam and France in 2018, Mr. Do Duc Duy – Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People Committee and Chairman of Provincial Council of Val de Marne signed a cooperation agreement supporting development of tourism in Yen Bai.
The signing ceremony took place in the witness of the President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
According to the signed cooperation agreement, Val de Marne province will support Yen Bai to develop tourism strategy for 4 western districts of Yen Bai province, including Nghia Lo town, Mu Cang Chai district, Van Chan district and Tram Tau district; Val de Marne also supports Yen Bai to build a new website and issue leaflets to introduce Yen Bai tourism in French and Vietnamese; mobilize the agencies and organizations and individuals of the two localities to exchange and help each other in construction and tourism development. Particularly, Val der Marne province will support local people in Nghia Lo town and Mu Cang Chai district to develop a program of local tourism ambassadors; help local people to build community tourism activities and special tourism products; connect tourism actitivities with global travel companies
