Provincial leaders gave flowers to congratulate the provincial business community

In 2022, despite being affected by the global economic recession, Yen Bai province's economy still grew at a good rate. The growth rate of gross domestic product in the area reached 8.62% (the highest since 2015); completed and exceeded the plan 31/32 targets (of which 18 exceeded the plan). The economic structure continued to shift positively; trade and services recovered strongly, with outstanding growth, especially tourism services.

Yen Bai continues to be a bright spot in the Northwest region in terms of new rural construction. State budget collection tasks and solutions were implemented drastically and synchronously, total state budget revenue in the province reached VND 4,616 billion.

The province focused on effectively implementing solutions to promote disbursement of public investment capital, maintaining a monthly disbursement higher than the national average. The infrastructure system continued to receive key investment; many key traffic works and projects created driving force for economic and social development. Digital transformation has been implemented drastically and effectively, mobilizing the participation of the whole political system, business community and people in the province; ranked 27th out of 63 provinces and cities in terms of national digital transformation.

Culture - society made many progress, social security was concerned; National defense and security were maintained, social order and safety were ensured for the peaceful and happy life of the people.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan emphasized that the results of 2022 showed the firm bravery, will, determination and striving efforts of the whole political system, the business community and people of ethnic groups in the province; in which there was very important contribution of the business community, of businessmen, workers and laborers in the province.

He suggested that in the coming time, businesses need to constantly innovate and create, promote the potentials and advantages of the province, take advantage of opportunities, overcome challenges, in order to increase productivity and quality, efficiency in production and business activities of enterprises.
