Recently, in Yamanashi Prefecture (Japan), a ceremony was held to sign a framework agreement for implementing cooperative activities between Yen Bai Province and the Yamanashi government.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Kotaro Nagasaki, Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture, expressed his appreciation and joy at welcoming the delegation from Yen Bai Province for their visit, work, and the signing of the cooperation agreement between the two localities.
The Governor also shared information about the notable characteristics and advantages of Yamanashi Prefecture.
Yamanashi has strengths in agriculture, tourism, and wine production. The industry is closely related to agricultural products. Agriculture in Yamanashi develops year-round, providing many advantages for Vietnamese workers participating in job opportunities in Yamanashi.
Every year, Yamanashi attracts a significant number of interns to work in key sectors such as mechanics, food processing, and agriculture. The basic wage for workers participating in labor export programs to Yamanashi is 784 JPY per hour.
The Governor affirmed that, based on the cooperation agreement, the two localities would promote specific community plans and projects that leverage the advantages of both provinces. He also expressed the desire to exchange delegations to Vietnam soon and contribute significantly to the development of both localities, as well as to the overall strategic relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Ta Van Long, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, provided information about the potential and strengths of the province. Yen Bai is the gateway to the Northwest region of Vietnam, with rich resources such as land, forests, minerals, and tourism, as well as the young and abundant labor force.
With many similarities between the two localities, Mr. Ta Van Long is confident that the friendly cooperative relationship between Yamanashi Prefecture and Yen Bai Province will continue to develop, bringing practical benefits to the development of both localities. He also expressed the hope of deepening the extensive strategic partnership between Japan and Vietnam, aiming to enhance friendship and cooperation among the governments and people of Yen Bai Province and Yamanashi Prefecture, thereby contributing to the friendly relations and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.
The two localities signed a Memorandum of Understanding covering five key areas of cooperation: technology and engineering; labor; youth exchanges; tourism; trade and investment
On this occasion, on behalf of the leadership of Yen Bai Province, Mr. Ta Van Long respectfully invited the Governor and his colleagues to visit and work in Yen Bai Province to further promote the relationship and enhance cooperation in these areas.
