YBP - On the morning of October 19th, Mr. Nguyen The Phuoc, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, participated in the "Weekend with the People and Enterprises" activity in Ban Van Village, Viet Hong Commune.
During the morning, the provincial and district leaders, along with local residents, planted a total of 2,915 Caribbean pine trees
Mr. Nguyen The Phuoc, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the People's Committee of Tran Yen district, planted Caribbean pine trees in the gardens of households of Mr. Hoang Van Bien, Mr. Hoang Kim Nhi, and Ms. Lo Thi Co in Ban Van Village, Viet Hong Commune.
During the morning, the provincial and district leaders, along with local residents, planted a total of 2,915 Caribbean pine trees. This tree species is perennial and plays a significant role in environmental protection, improving air quality, and enhancing the landscape. The trees grow relatively quickly, are easy to plant, and require care primarily in the first two years. After that, they mainly develop naturally and have the best vitality.
Participating in the work, talking and encouraging the people, Mr. Nguyen The Phuoc expressed his hope that the residents of Viet Hong Commune would continue to promote their tradition of solidarity, harness their internal strengths, shift their economic structure, and actively introduce new crops for economic development, creating a green, clean, and beautiful environment that enhances their quality of life. He also urged agricultural agencies to actively guide residents on the techniques for planting and caring for this type of tree.
The "Weekend with the People and Enterprises" activity in Ban Van Village aims to create a green, clean, and beautiful environment, continuously improving environmental quality; ensuring green space criteria in the construction of advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas; developing community tourism; contribute to disaster mitigation, environmental protection, and climate change adaptation.
