According to the plan, Mu Cang Chai district will organize numerous activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) as well as the "water pouring season" tourism in 2025.
Mu Cang Chai district will organize the following activities: offering incense in memory of the fallen heroes at the district's Martyrs' Cemetery; visiting and assisting families with contributions to the revolution; hosting an artistic program to celebrate the theme “Unity Festival” and tourism activities for the "water pouring season" in 2025; and experiencing paragliding “Flying over the scenic area” during the water pouring season.
Additionally, the district will hold cultural and artistic events; an exhibition of artistic photographs showcasing the beauty of Mu Cang Chai's terraced fields at the district center; community tourism activities for visitors to experience the cultural values of the Thai and Mong ethnic groups, exploring the natural landscapes and culture of Mu Cang Chai; and hands-on activities in terraced field farming, including the art of building dikes, irrigation, plowing, harrowing, and rice planting in La Pan Tan commune, as well as experiences in Mo De, De Xu Phinh, Che Cu Nha, and Lao Chai communes.
Visitors can experience mountain climbing with transportation to explore various locations, including: the Mam Xoi area, Thap Troi Peak (La Pan Tan), the “Rice Hammock” in Sang Nhu, bamboo forests (Mồ Dề), the Che Cu Nha handicraft cooperative, Rong Waterfall, pine hills, the Dinosaur Spine (De Xu Phinh), the Ancient Stone site (Lao Chai), Lung Cung Peak (Nam Co), Pang Kang area (Kim Noi), pristine forests, heritage trees (Che Tao); the community tourism village of Ta Sung (Cao Pha commune), and the ECOLODGE ecological resort in Hua Khat village, Nam Khat commune.
