At the meeting, Ms Pham Thi Thanh Tra - Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Yen Bai Province welcomed the leader delegation from Xay Nha Bu Ly to visit Yen Bai. He stressed that 2017 is an important year to respond to the "Vietnam - Laos Friendship, Solidarity Year" together with the events of celebrating 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos; 40 years of signing the Vietnam-Laos friendship and cooperation treaty.  Within the framework of the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, Yen Bai province has established friendly relations with Vientiane province (since 2008) and Xay Nha Bu Ly province (since 2012). Up o now, these relationships have been increasingly consolidated and developed in many fields such as politics, economics, education, health care, agriculture and rural development, experience sharing, and infrastructure, information technology ... and achieved many good results. Among them, Yen Bai province has trained students from Xay Nha Bu Ly at Yen Bai Teachers’ training College; training medical staff, nursing, upgrading skills for the doctors from Xay Nha Bu Ly  at Yen Bai Health College; In 2017, Yen Bai province contributes VND 3 billion to the construction of the rehabilitation room (ICU) and the dialysis room at Xay Nha Bu Ly Hospital. The delegation exchange is interested by two provinces to exchange and share about how to work and solve problems arising in the implementation of cooperation activities.

She wishes the two provinces to continue to implement cooperative activities in 2017 effectively and to develop a cooperative program in 2018. These activities have a practical significance contributing to the building of the relationship between the two countries Vietnam - Laos in general and two provinces Yen Bai - Nha Bu Ly in particular forever green, sustainable forever.

Mr. Sôm lit Pươc Keo - Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee,  the chairman of the provincial People’s Council, the leader of the Laos - Viet Nam Friendship Association thanked Yen Bai leaders for welcoming them and supporting Xay Nha Bu Ly in recent years in training human resources, assisting Xay Nha Bu Ly to build infrastructure in the health sector as well as information technology, exchange and share how to work and solve problems arising in the implementation of cooperation activities.

He wishes to continue receiving support from Yen Bai province in the field of cooperation, contributing to building a good relationship between the two provinces of Yen Bai - Xay Nha Bu Ly.
