The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Duong Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang – Deputy President of Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee.

At the meeting, on the behalf of Yen Bai leader, Mr. Duong Van Thong informed the delegation about the social – economic situation of Yen Bai province. Mr. Thong also expressed his pleasure about the friendly relationship between Yen Bai – Vientiane during the past years.

The Yen Bai leader also affirmed that, in near future, Yen Bai province will enhance the cooperation and delegation exchange between two provinces in order exchange and share experiences in building Party, political system and socio-economic development. Particularly, in the field of healthcare and education, the province will continue to pay attention to the training of Lao students to study in Yen Bai province to serve the homeland
On behalf of the delegation, Ms Sing Kham Khong Sa Van thanked the warm welcome of the Yen Bai province for the delegation and hoped that Yen Bai would continue to create conditions for the contingent of officials and leaders of Vientiane province to visit and work together to exchange, share, learn experience.

At the same time, Vientiane will promote the cooperation program which was signed between the two provinces in 2018 in order to foster more relationships and friendship solidarity between the two provinces.
