In the past year, the trade promotion activities of Yen Bai province were synchronously implemented in the direction of focusing on information, propagation of potentials and strengths of the province, introduction of key products of the province to the domestic and foreign markets. In 2017, Yen Bai province consulted and supported over 400 enterprises to build e-commerce infrastructure; improve the quality of operation of electronic trading platform with 480 enterprises and 1,500 products offered; completed the construction and operation of public-service of the level 3 in trade and industry sector. The province now has over 80 enterprises, business households registered to open accounts on the software.
In order to realize the target for socio-economic development of the province, Yen Bai has promoted export-oriented trade promotion. The provincial departments and agencies have supported enterprises to participate in 8 fairs and exhibitions in foreign markets, 10 fairs in the country with a series of key products in the province. In 2017, Yen Bai organizes nearly 20 trade fairs in the province and dozens of conferences and seminars to introduce and promote local specialties.
General evaluation, trade promotion activities have created favorable conditions for enterprises to connect with domestic and foreign customers, expand the market to products, promote production and business, create jobs, increase income for laborers.
