Chuong Dance is one of the main dances and very special in the sacred rites of the Dao people in Suoi Quyen. The dance is only held in the house and can not be absent from the presence of the altar. Because gods are the very important power to protect human life and the gods bless the people have a happy life.

There must necessarily have three gods in the three places, they are Ngoc thanh (god in heaven), thuong thanh (god  in land) and Thai thanh (god in the hell). They are three poweful gods.

Besides preparing worship pictures, custome as the rules, the magician must  prepare enough equipments such as bells, bar, drums, gong .... Initially, the magician perform the Chuong dance to ask the gods to confer blessings to people.

Dao people think that young men must know the Chuong dance and the dance appear in all important rituals of Dao Tien people.

Before organizing the dances, the magician will ask the permission of the gods and ancestors to have fun and invite their ancestors to have fun with their descendants. After that, the Dao young men enjoy the dance.

The dancer holds a specially patterned on the left hand, the right hand holds a bell to rhythm and dance. The flexible movement simulates the process of living on new land, married wife, husband and child birth in each family. Dao people in Suoi Quyen commune always want to preserve the culture of this dance.

In order to preserve and promote the precious traditional culture, preserve the identity of the Dao ethnic groups, the People's Committee of Suoi Quyen commune has actively encouraged the people to restore the beautiful cultural transmission, including Chuong Dance of the Dao. The commune authorities also mobilize teachers and artisans to regularly instruct dancing for children here. Beside, the commune also encourages artisans to collect and organize ceremonies suitable for the new cultural life.
