YBP- Like the Dao people in many localities, Dao people in Suoi Quyen commune of Van Chan district have many important ceremonies. In these rituals, Dao people in Suoi Quyen always appears Chuong Dance. The Mo appears in this dance and only men can dance. To preserve and promote the values of the Chuong dances, the craft men in Suoi Quyen have been teaching and educating this dance to the younger generation.
Chuong Dance is one of the main dances and very special in the sacred rites of the Dao people in Suoi Quyen. The dance is only held in the house and can not be absent from the presence of the altar. Because gods are the very important power to protect human life and the gods bless the people have a happy life.
There must necessarily have three gods in the three places, they are Ngoc thanh (god in heaven), thuong thanh (god in land) and Thai thanh (god in the hell). They are three poweful gods.
