The delegation visited the Centre of Stones. This is an autonomous organization promoted by the Government of Rajastahn, a State which has huge reserves of white marble which provide great potential for development of large-scale white marble mining and processing industry. The State is one of the biggest stone mining and processing centres in India.

During the visit, the delegation also worked with Vietnamese Embassy in India. On behalf of the delegation, Madam. Pham Thi Thanh Tra informed the Vietnamese Embassy in India about some Indian businesses which have been investing in Yen Bai province, the contribution of Indian enterprises to the socio-economic development of the province in recent years.

Ambassador Ton Sinh Thanh agreed with the request of Yen Bai province and hoped that Yen Bai province would make plan and prepare the conditions for organizing the investment promotion conference of Yen Bai province in India in 2018.

According to the plan, in 2018, the Embassy of Vietnam in India will hold a conference on investment promotion for Vietnamese enterprises to introduce to India businesses the potential, promotion opportunities for investment in Vietnam. The visit of Yen Bai delegation is an occasion to enhance cooperation opportunities between Yen Bai province of Vietnam and Rajasthan state of India and to promote opportunities for cooperation among enterprises of Yen Bai and the State of Rajasthan. The visit of the Yen Bai delegation also contributed positively to the strengthening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and India.
