At the meeting, Mr. Duong Van Tien - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee thanked the delegation for visiting and working in Yen Bai province. He stressed that Yen Bai province has received many aid programs, investment projects on transport infrastructure, irrigation, clean water ... from Japan, especially the project of raising rabbit of Nippon Zoki Company deployed in Van Chan district, contributing to solving employment for local people, improving the living standards of upland people. He wished to welcome Japanese volunteers to Yen Bai to exchange experiences in areas that help people develop their economy and improve their life…. making the relationship between Vietnam - Japan and JICA - Yen Bai better and better.

At the meeting, Mr. Ohi Toshiaki - Senior Advisor of JICA Volunteer Program, JICA Japan Office thanked the leaders of Yen Bai province for welcoming them and expected that Yen Bai province will create favorable conditions for Japanese volunteers to work in Yen Bai, contributing to making the relationship between Vietnam - Japan and JICA - Yen Bai better and better.
