The leaders of Yen Bai province visited the first steel products at Hoa Sen Yen Bai Building Materials Factory.

Of  all 10 indicators in 2017, Yen Bai province has three raising point indexes which are: business support, labor training and legal institutions. Seven indicators of decline are market access, cost for time, access to land, transparency and access to information; unofficial fees, the dynamics of leadership and equal competition.

This year is the third time that Yen Bai province has organized the survey, assessment of Department and District Competitiveness Index with 15 departments and 9 districts. As a result, 14/15 units achieved good results, of which the Department of Transportation reached the highest with 85,93 points;Tran Yen, Yen Binh and Tram Tau are district achieving good results. The six remaining  districts, towns and cities have achieved medium results.

Mr. Do Duc Duy- Chairman of Yen Bai PPC emphasized that PCI is a decisive factor to attract investment and socio-economic development of the province. So we must change from perception to action, from management to serving people and busines.  PCI is a measure of the ability of the leaders to direct and execute the tasks of leaders and officials at all levels. In order to promote and maintain the scores of high-ranking indicators, continue to strive to improve the scores of components, bringing PCI Yen Bai to the top of the fair group, locating from 35 to 40 and located in the first group of provinces in the northern mountainous region.

The chairman of the Provincial People's Committee asked the departments, branches and localities to quickly develop a plan to improve the business investment environment; review 10 indicators and low indicators comprehensive evaluation; to focus on improving and overcoming the limited, weak and unpopular indicator components; to maintain and implement measures to promote enterprises, promote indicators on training and development of human resources for enterprises; Strengthening legal institutions and judicial system to settle disputes related to enterprises; to step up the administrative reform and focus on solving difficulties in land, tax and environment for enterprises.

The chairman of the provincial People's Committee asked the departments, branches and localities to continue supporting and facilitating the development of enterprises, especially SMEs; overcome the overlapping situation in inspection and examination for businesses; to publicize, clarify, guide and regularly update decisions, policies and administrative procedures for citizens and enterprises; renovate and diversify of forms of dialogue, meetings with enterprises, actively remove obstacles to enterprises with the direction of creating the most favorable for enterprises…
