Members of the delegation are Mr Nong Van Lịnh - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Hoang Xuan Nguyen - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization; leader of provincial Military Command, heads of Departments of: Foreign Affairs, Education and Training, Health and the Office of People’s Committee. 

Before visiting and working in Vientiane and Xayabury provinces, the high-ranking delegation of Yen Bai province visited Embassy of Vietnam in Lao PDR. 

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Minister Counsellor, Charge d'affaires, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Vietnam in Laos received the delegation.

On behalf of Yen Bai provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Do Duc Duy informed to the Embassy some information of friendly cooperative situation between Yen Bai and Vientiane and Xayabury provinces of Lao PDR in the recent time. 

During 10 years of cooperation with Vientiane province and 6 years with Xayabury province, Yen Bai has cooperated on delegation exchange, support on human resources training, experience sharing on education and training management, support on healthcare, infrastructure investment and other fields.

As a result, there have been a lot of achievements in different fields of the cooperative program, contributing to the cooperative relations between the two provinces and deepening the special relationship of solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. 

On this occasion, the delegation is going to take part in the 10^th anniversary of friendship cooperation between Yen Bai and Vientiane provinces, have a meeting with high-ranking leaders of Vientiane and Xayabury provinces and carry out other activities.

Highly appreciated the work program of Yen Bai province this time as well as the results of cooperative activities in recent years, Ministerial Counselor, Provisional Representative, Deputy Head of Representative Office of Vietnam Embassy in Lao Nguyen Thanh Tung wishes the friendly relationship between the two countries in general and the Yen Bai province with the local Laos is strong and good.

Deputy Head of the representative office of the Embassy of Vietnam in Laos also outlined the situation of friendly cooperation between Vietnam and the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the contents related to political diplomacy, foreign affairs, economic diplomacy, cultural diplomacy, people's diplomacy over time.
