The delegation of Yen Bai has the discussion with the leader of Yunnam province.

The visit of Mrs. Pham Thi Thanh Tra and the delegation to Yunnan province had an important role in improving cooperation and pushing up the economic, social and cultural development; learning experience of Party building, training cadres; exchange experice in exploiting the potential to promote economic development; agreeing to put Yen Bai into the economic corridor of Kunming - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong.

Comrade Ly Y Cuong - Deputy Head of Hong Ha, Yunnan province and Hong Ha leader welcomed the delegation of Yen Bai province at Lao Cai International Border Gate on the morning of March 21.

As well as went to Yunnan, Mrs. Pham Thi Thanh Tra and the delegation worked with Committee of Organization Committee of Yunnan Province, the Board of Directors of Yunnan Party  School -  a good model for Yen Bai province to coordinate in training staff.

Mrs. Tra hoped that Yunnan Party School would help train staff of Yen Bai province with knowledge, skills, methods, leadership experience, advanced management to meet the requirements in the new situation.

At Giai Hoa International Hotel, on March 22, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Provincial People's Council Pham Thi Thanh Tra chaired the meeting to exchange trade and investment with representatives of a number of businesses in Yunnan province. These businesses operate in the fields of exploitating, processing, investing in agriculture - forestry development and business of goods transport services of Yunnan. In the open and warm atmosphere of the friendship, Mrs. Tra welcomed the interest of investors, she expressed her pleasure to welcome investors to attend the meeting, she affirmed that Yen Bai always welcomed and invited investors to seek the opportunities to invest in Yen Bai.

Mrs. Tra introduced investors Yenbai’s strength and potentials; policies of Yen Bai in attracting investment and force of Yen Bai leaders in attracting investors coming to Yen Bai… 

Continuing the working program, Mrs. Pham Thi Thanh Tra met Mr. Tran Hao - Member of the Central Executive Committee, the Communist Party of China, Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Congress of Yunnan Province.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Hao expressed his pleasure at the first visit of Yen Bai high-level delegation in Yunnan.

Mrs. Pham Thi Thanh Tra expressed at impressed socio-economic achievements that Yunnan province has gained in the past and believed under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, Yunnan continues to achieve more achievements in the coming time.

Mrs. Pham Thi Thanh Tra affirmed the visit and working session of the high-ranking delegation of Yen Bai province will lay the foundation and open a new page for building and strengthening cooperation activities between the two provinces to promote the advantages and potentials of the two provinces.

He hoped that the two provinces would strengthen the promotion of sustainable friendly cooperation, contributing to the Vietnam - China strategic cooperation partnership for stable, healthy and sustainable development. The two sides should strengthen exchanges to promote friendly cooperation between the two provinces of Yen Bai - Yunnan to come into reality and effectivess.

At the same time, the two sides actively exchange delegation activities and put Yen Bai province into the cooperation program of the provinces in the economic corridor of Kunming - Lao Cai – Hanoi - Hai Phong.

Yen Bai province also proposed Yunnan province to help Yen Bai province train the province's strategic staff and create favorable conditions to promote the development of trade cooperation activities; support and encourage businesses of both sides to participate in trade fairs organized by the other side; create conditions for enterprises of the two provinces to explore and survey the advantages of agricultural, forestry and industrial products in order to form a network of consumption of each provice and support connection other potential markets of Vietnam - China.

Mrs. Tra proposed Yunnan province to encourage and support Yunnan enterprises to study and survey the investment opportunities in Yen Bai on the fields that Yen Bai is prioritizing to develop such as agro-forestry processing and pharmaceutical products; tourism development;  renewable and electronic power industry, construction materials processing... in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.
