The great “Xoe dance” was performed by 2,020 artists, amateur actors from communes and wards of Nghia Lo town.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Muong Lo Cultural and Tourism Festival in 2020, Mr. Le Tri Ha - Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghia Lo gave an impressive greeting: The Muong Lo Cultural and Tourism Festival is an annual activity, of which 2020 is the first year to be organized into a series of activities, lasting for a month, starting from the beginning of October 2020. Coming to this festival, visitors will have the opportunity to join hands with hands to immerse themselves in the folk tunes, indulge in the distinctive xoe dances of the Thai ethnic people in the Northwest; experience, discover unexpected and interesting cultural and tourist activities.

Through the activities of this Festival, Nghia Lo town wishes to introduce, promote, spread good cultural values, imbued with identity, warmth, friendliness and hospitability of the ethnic group in Muong Lo - Nghia Lo to domestic and international friends.

Next is an art performance with the theme "Muong Lo - Converge and Spread", including 3 chapters with the participation of 2020 artists, mass actors, and the concert of the national musical instrument orchestra, which made a unique cultural space, converging and blending together to create identity cultural intersection, associated with indigenous culture.

The program of Muong Lo Cultural and Tourism Festival 2020 aims to honor the traditional cultural values and unique identities of ethnic minorities in Yen Bai province in general, Nghia Lo town and western districts of Yen Bai in particular... which contributes to highlighting the hidden beauty of nature and people, the quintessence of tradition and modernity, creating a unique charm, making Nghia Lo become a tourist center of the province and of region.
