At the working session, Mr. Matsuo Tomoyuki - Director of Japan-Vietnam Culinary Association presented the Association's investment idea in promoting traditional dishes bearing Vietnamese and Japanese culinary culture. Mr. Matsuo also said that in Vietnam, there is the strength of quality raw materials, so the combination of raw materials and Japanese high-tech processing will create great products for users..
The Association will implement a project for each province with 1 product in 63 provinces of Vietnam and 47 prefectures of Japan. In the project of 110 products, the Association will select the most typical products of Yen Bai to sell on online stores to introduce and promote to consumers in Japan and the world.
AVice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Thi Hien Hanh and representatives of departments and branches of the province also informed about the potentials and advantages in agricultural development of Yen Bai province. Currently, Yen Bai province has a number of products exported to Japan such as bamboo shoots, minerals, wooden chopsticks, sawn timber, garment products.
Vice Chairwoman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee wished the Culinary Association would choose a typical product of Yen Bai to introduce to consumers in Japan and the world. Yen Bai province would be always ready to accompany and support the implementation of the project effectively. She requested the Japan-Vietnam Culinary Association to connect with specialized departments and branches of Yen Bai province to implement the next coordination steps.
