At present, there are 30 projects granted Investment Registration Certificates which are on working with total registed capital of USD 429,39 million.

In the first 6 months of 2021, FDI projects in Yen Bai invested with total capital of  USD 16.82 million, up 48.72% in comparision with this time last year.

According to Deparment of Planning and Investment, despite of negative impact of epidemic covid-19, business activities reached good echievements. Total revenue of foreign direct investment enterprises in Yen Bai province is about 56.44 million USD, equivalent to VND 1.326,26 billion. Total export turnover of foreign-invested enterprises reached about USD 59.66 million. FDI enterprises pay taxes and state budget at USD 5.19 million, equivalent to VND 121.98 billion.

It’s estimated that in the last 6 months of year, Yen Bai province continues to issue Investment Regisrtation Certificates for FDI projects; urge investors accelerate the implementation of investment projects. The province strives to reach about 35 million USD (equivalent to 822.5 billion VND) in investment capital in 2021.Theo Projects focuses textile, wood production and mineral process.

In order to get the the above targets, the solutions have been issued: improving the quality of invesment promotion; improving investment promotion and advocacy mechanisms and policies; creating good investment environment for investors; promoting administrative reform in appraising and granting Decision on Investment Policy/Certificate of Investment Registration.
