Mr. Dương Van Tien – Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee inspected the planning adjustment and expansion of Suoi Giang tourist area

On March 8^th 2011, the provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 302 on the approval of the detailed planning adjustment and expansion to construct Suoi Giang tourist area attaching the stone with veins area in Giang A and Suoi Lop hamlets in Suoi Giang commune of Van Chan district.

Basing on the actual situation of the new rural planning in Suoi Giang commune, the situation of  land use and land for building infrastructure in the commune, through the inspecting and researching each item in the detailed planning to construct Suoi Giang tourist area attaching the stone with veins area in Giang A and Suoi Lop hamlets and the demand of development orientation of the local, Van Chan district had a statement to the provincial People’s Committee and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to consider adjustment of some contents of the planning, that is to give up some points of the planning of Sport Center, house for officers and employees, outdoor stage, Convention Center and high school. In addition, Van Chan district proposed to change the name of market plan to Commercial Center  plan.

From the proposals of Van Chan district, Mr. Duong Van Tien, Vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee carried out a field trip in Suoi Giang commune to gasp the actual situation and listen to the opinions from departments and Van Chan district for the plan. Mr. Duong Van Tien asked Culture sector to finish the planning adjustment to consult the provincial Standing party committee and the competent authorities about appraising and approving the planning; Implement the resolutions and Action programme of  the provincial standing party committee on making project “Promoting tourism development  of Yen Bai province in the period 2016 – 2020, orientation to 2025”.

Mr. Duong Van Tien asked party committee and government of Van Chan district and Suoi Giang commune to care and consider adjusting the plan reasonably without breaking the landscape, ecology and preserve ancient Shan tea trees.
