At the working session, Mr. Do Duc Duy - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee reported briefly on the results of leadership in performing tasks since the Party Congress the 19th provincial ministry to present; future directions and tasks.

The delegates of the delegation analyzed the results achieved by Yen Bai province over the past time. Accordingly, the delegates highly appreciated that Yen Bai province quickly implemented, concretized and soon brought the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels to life. The delegates also said that Yen Bai province has restructured the economy towards balance, harmony and rationality, ensuring sustainable development. In particular, the province's infrastructure is interested in investment, creating a new look for the locality. The province has also invested effectively in the human resource development strategy to meet the requirements and tasks in the coming period. The delegates also highly appreciated the existing potentials and strengths of Yen Bai province, and believed that Yen Bai would have remarkable and clear development steps in the coming time.

Speaking at the working session, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc recognized, highly appreciated and enthusiastically praised the results that the Party Committee of Yen Bai province has achieved in recent years. In particular, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc highly appreciated Yen Bai province's efforts in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. Up to now, Yen Bai is still one of the few provinces located in a safe green zone in the country.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc affirmed: Yen Bai province has strongly promoted the spirit of self-reliance, solidarity and unity throughout the political system. Yen Bai has many potentials in mineral resources, forest resources, forest land, especially the potentials of culture and indigenous people... Therefore, the province needs to consider this as an advantage to have harmonious development of economy and culture.

In order to create a breakthrough in agricultural production, the President said that Yen Bai province should continue to focus on developing clean agricultural production and organic agricultural production; strongly improve the business investment environment to attract potential investors. In addition, the province needs to pay attention to the field of urban planning and development with a strategic, methodical, central focus; do well in social security work; sustainable poverty reduction.

Noting the strong transformations of Yen Bai, especially in the field of education and training, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to coordinate with Yen Bai province to study and propose to organize conference to summarize the field of ethnic education on a national scale in the coming time, thereby serving as a basis for replicating the typical education model in other localities.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc was also particularly impressed when Yen Bai province pioneered and boldly included the happiness index in the target of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress and up to this point the province is making efforts to implement with the goal of bringing better life to the people.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed his belief that with the good tradition of the Party Committee and on the basis of its achievements, the Provincial Party Committee will effectively implement the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, strive to bring Yen Bai to develop quickly and sustainably in the direction of "Green, harmony, identity and happiness", become a good province by 2025 and in the group of leading developed provinces of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region by 2030.
