Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Bai province; leaders of provincial departments and branches, leaders of Luc Yen district and many people of communes the road passing through.

The project of renovating and upgrading Tan Linh - Tan Lap - Phan Thanh road associated with tourism development in Luc Yen district has a total investment of VND 79 billion, built with a scale of grade IV mountainous road with a length of 17.45 km, a width of 7.5m, the road surface structure is smooth with asphalt. The route Tan Linh - Tan Lap - Phan Thanh has the starting point connecting from Nga Ba Sang, Tan Linh commune to the end point at Thuy Van wharf, Phan Thanh commune. The investor of the project is the Construction Investment Project Management Board of Luc Yen district, built by 3 construction contractors: Son Tung - Mainland construction company joint venture, Trung Huong - Phuc Hung construction company joint venture and the Hong Nam - Cuong Thinh Joint Venture. The construction period according to the signed contract is 20 months from the date of commencement of construction. The project is expected to be completed by July 31, 2023.

This is one of the important works of Luc Yen district, with the task of inter-regional connection among communes of the district, meeting the needs of people's travel and trade, ensuring convenient transportation in the area in the rainy season, and at the same time, towards the goal of developing tourism on Thac Ba Lake and surrounding areas, creating a link between tourism development and local socio-economic development, contributing to the new countryside construction.

In order for the project to be invested in accordance with regulations, achieve high quality, complete on schedule and promote investment efficiency, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan suggested the investor do a good job of management, supervision, inspection, supervision, regular urging, strict implementation of the construction process of the project, ensuring effective investment capital, preventing loss and waste in construction investment; promptly solve arising problems, strive to complete the project in December 2022.
