Delegates attended the plenary session in Yen Bai

Attending the Forum at the bridge point of Yen Bai province were Mr. Ngo Hanh Phuc - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of provincial departments and agencies.

The Industry 4.0 Summit is an annual event, attracting thousands of domestic and international delegates, becoming one of the largest-scale annual forums on Industry 4.0 in Vietnam. The Industry 4.0 Summit (in 2021) consists of 10 conference sessions (taking place from November 9 to November 18, 2021) and a plenary session (on December 6).

This is an event of great political, economic and social significance, contributing to the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party and providing the basis for building a model and policy on industrialization and modernization of the country in the period to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

At the Plenary session, the delegates focused on in-depth analysis and clarification of the strategic orientation of industrialization and modernization to 2030, with  a vision to 2045.

Also at the Summit, the delegates discussed and commented on the policy framework for sustainable socio-economic recovery in association with the overall strategy for COVID-19 prevention and control in Vietnam in the 2021 - 2030 period. The delegates also proposed and recommended models and policies to promote industrialization and modernization on the basis of science, technology and innovation to realize the goal that by 2030, Vietnam is a developing country on modern industry with high average income; by 2045, Vietnam will become a developed and high-income country, and become one of the smart manufacturing and service centers in Asia.

In Yen Bai, for sustainable socio-economic recovery and development in the post COVID-19 period, the province has set out specific groups of tasks and solutions, including continuing to strengthen measures for COVID-19 prevention and control, flexibly adapting, creating conditions for normal socio-economic activities; deeply grasp the spirit of direction and strictly follow the call of the General Secretary, the directions and orientations of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Government, the Prime Minister, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control; continue to develop e-government towards digital government, improve competitiveness, significantly improve the investment environment of the province; well implement social security goals in order to ensure harmonious development between economy and society, maintain a positive growth rate, implement supportive policies to promote economic growth, promote the implementation of digital transformation applications, towards the development of the digital economy, in order to reduce risks and respond to epidemics.

As for the group of tasks and key solutions to promote industrialization and modernization in the digital age in the near future, Yen Bai province will continue to thoroughly understand and propagate to party members and businesses in the province to actively participates in the fourth industrial revolution with the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, environmental protection, defense and security assurance of agencies and units; focus on building a contingent of cadres, civil servants, public employees, training local labor resources and enterprises... to meet the requirements of the 4th industrial revolution.
