Provincial leaders gave the decision to approve the investment policy to investors

In 2021, there were 330 new enterprises and 87 cooperatives established, bringing the total number of enterprises and cooperatives in the province to over 2,600 enterprises with a total registered capital of about VND 33,000 billion and 582 cooperatives with a total charter capital of nearly VND1,336 billion. Enterprises paid over VND1,380 billion  to the State budget, accounting for 58.5% of the total balanced revenue in the province. created jobs and stable income for nearly 43,600 people with an average income of 6-7 million VND/person/month. There were 54 newly granted investment projects deciding on investment policies with a total registered investment capital of VND7,047 billion. Accumulated to March 15, 2022, there has been 585 projects (35 FDI projects) with a total registered capital of VND 86,911 billion and USD 465.7 million.

In 2021, enterprises and cooperatives in the province actively participated in poverty reduction, social security and humanitarian activities in the locality with a total of support over VND 30 billion.

In 2021, enterprises paid over VND 1,380 billion to the state budget, accounting for 58.5% of the total balanced revenue in the province.

At the meeting, businesses expressed their gratitude to Yen Bai province for creating favorable conditions for businesses to develop stably in the area, and at the same time, shared good experiences, initiatives in production and business; accelerated the digital transformation process to bring products to major domestic and international markets.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Party Committees, authorities at all levels and branches advise the Provincial People's Committee to implement synchronously and effectively the policies of the Central Government, of the province, issued on business support and economic development support. Promote comprehensive and synchronous administrative reform, implement tasks and solutions to improve the business environment, improve competitiveness, proactively implement preferential policies and support investment, develop economic sectors in the province in the period of 2021 - 2025; strengthen support for technological innovation, application of science and technology in production and business, and encourage innovative start-ups and digital transformation.

Capture and promptly solve and remove difficulties and problems for people and businesses. Effectively deploying the "Weekend with businesses” and "Entrepreneurs’ Cafe” programmes ensures the essence, unobtrusive, form with specific action and  contents. Take appropriate forms to honor typical enterprises and replicate examples in the locality.

The business community and the entrepreneurial team continue to promote initiative, creativity, and solidarity to solve difficulties, find markets, invest in technological innovation, improve productivity, management level, product quality, building a new brand  for businesses to conquer potential markets. Raising awareness, changing thinking, working methods, production and business based on digital technology to accompany the province to step by step complete digital transformation towards building digital government, digital economy and digital society.

Businesses also need to pay attention and care to improve and further enhance the lives of workers, continue to accompany the province in social security activities in the area.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Decision approving the investment policy for 9 investment projects in various fields. Businesses have donated social security support including VND 20.7 billion  and 400 tons of cement to build schools, bridges, roads and solidify rural roads in some difficult communes.
