In the first 6 months of 2022, the province continued to implement solutions to restructure the industry in a fast, sustainable and effective way in association with environmental protection. The index of industrial production (IIP) in June 2022 increased by 0.76% over the previous month and by 15.0% compared to June 2021. In the first 6 months of 2022, the industrial production index increased by 11.1% over the same period in 2021. Industrial production value (at current prices) in June 2022 was estimated at VND1,874 billion, an increase of 2.2% over the previous month. In the first 6 months of 2022, industrial production value (at current prices) was estimated at VND 10,066 billion, estimated prices at VND 7,314 billion (at constant 2010), up 11.1% over the same period in 2021.

Some key products having high production index included: tapioca starch by 42.42%, clothing of all kinds by 70.71%; plywood by 49.66%; paints and varnishes by 41.7%, paving stones and curbstones by 41.81%; electricity for production increased by 31.22%; commercial electricity increased by 1.97%...
