Mr. Pham Huu Chi - Ambassador of Vietnam in Korea and about 150 Korean enterprises who are looking for opportunities to invest in Vietnam in general and in particular in Yen Bai province to join the conference.

Speaking to investors, Mrs Pham Thi Thanh Tra appreciated the role of the South Korean businesses operating in the province of Yen Bai. These enterprises have been contributing to making Yen Bai  more prosperous. They also have been contributing to strengthening the relationship between two countries, Vietnam and Korea.

Mrs. Pham Thi Thanh Tra confirmed that Yen Bai’s leaders pledged to create favorable conditions for foreign investors in general and Korean enterprises in particular.

Mrs. Pham Thi Thanh Tra introduced to Korean investors about the strengths of Yen Bai province. According to Yen Bai leader, Yen Bai has a political and economic position in Northern Vietnam with convenient transportation system including roads, waterways and railways. Yen Bai province also has great potential in the field of processing, trading and export of agricultural, forestry, mining, renewable energy and tourism ...

However, Pham Thi Thanh Tra stressed the most important potential of Yen Bai is the human factor. In recent years, Yen Bai always has ensured a good environment which facilitate investors to invest there. In particular, provincial leaders have focus on improving the investment environment of business by issuing plans of economic development, preparing workforce,  offering many incentives for investors who have been looking for the chance to invest in Yen Bai. Mrs. Pham Thi Thanh Tra confirmed Yen Bai are making efforts at the highest level to satisfy investors. Mrs. Tra also committed to always accompany investors in the process of investing in Yen Bai.

Mr. Pham Huu Chi - Ambassador of Vietnam in Korea said that  Yen Bai is one of the first locals in Vietnam to hold  the investment promotion conference in Korea in 2017 in which two countries celebrate the 25th anniversary of establishing bilateral diplomatic relation.

Ambassador Pham Huu Chi appreciated the interest of Yen Bai provincial leaders in attracting foreign investment, especially from Korean, based on the principle of mutual benefit.

Investors attending the conference spent time to find the advantages and difficulties when investing in Yen Bai. Representatives of Yen Bai’s departments also answered Korean investors’ questions.

In the framework of the conference, Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee and Solkiss company.Ltd (Korea) also signed a memorandum on the investment project on building renewable energy factory in Yen Bai province.

Korean investors attended the seminar also paid much attention to the natural advantages, the Yen Bai’s specific products such as cinnamon, wood and clay as well as incentives when investing in Yen Bai. These investors are hoping to have opportunities to invest in Yen Bai province in near future, thereby contributing to developing Yen Bai socio- economy as well as the Vietnam-Korea relation.
