1.From October 29^th to November 1^st 2016, People Committee of Yen Bai province organized multi-activities to celebrate 20 year cooperation and friendship between Yen Bai and Val-der-Marne. The high – ranking delagation of Val–der–Marne led by Mr. Christian Favier – Senator, President of Val–der-Marne Provincial Council together with Vice presidents and representatives of Val-der-Marne Provincial Councial visited model of community tourism in Nghia Lo town and participated in some activities of picking up Shan tea buds in Suoi Giang commune, drying tea buds. The delegation also participated in 20 tree planning activity to celebrate 20 years of cooperation and giving name to roses presented by Val -der -Marne which were grown in the yard of People’s Committee Office of Yen Bai Province.

2. On April 15^th 2016, in Hanoi, People’s Committee of Yen Bai province cooperated with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) to organise Conference on Investment Promotion for Korean enterprises to Yen Bai province. The Conference was to introduce widely strength, potentialities and competitive advantages of Yen Bai to Korean enterprises in order to provide enterprises chances to learn about preferable mechanism, policies and investment enviroment of Yen Bai province that will be basement of setting up relationship between Yen Bai and Korean organizations and enterprises.

3.From January 5^th to January 8^th 2017, the delegation of Yen Bai province led by Madam Pham Thi Thanh Tra – Chairwoman of People’s Committee of Yen Bai province paid a working visit in Korea to organise the investment promotion workshop for Korean entrepreneurs and to survey the operation of SOLKISS factories which apllying the technology of combination both hydro power and solar power manufacturing.

4.On February 16^th 2016, the delegation of Embassy of the Republic of Korea and Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) led by Mr. Park Sang Sik – Minister and Consul – General of Korea Embassy in Vietnam paid a wiking visit to Yen Bai in order to discuss about preparation for Conference on Investment promotion between Yen Bai province and representatives of Korean organizations and enterprises.

5. On February 29^th 2016, People’s Committee of Yen Bai Province held New – year meeting with FDI enterprises in Yen Bai provicne to assess their business acitivities of 2015 and discuss about solutuons to help enterprises to be more sustainable.

6. February 23^rd – March 1^st 2016, Delegation of Yen Bai province led by Mr. Duong Van Thong – Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee paid a working visit to Vientiane province. At the meeting, leaders of two provinces reviewed achievements from cooperation program since 2008 to present .
