Attracting large projects

By the end of  2015, Yen Bai has 214 approved projects of which 22 FDI projects are being implemented with the total registed capital invesment of 33.233 billion VND and nearly 187 million dollars.

Particularly in 2016, Yen Bai province issued certificate of registration for 25 new investment projects with a total capital registered of over 7,000 billion investment.

In May 2016, Hoa Sen Group started project of contructing the Center of Commercial – Services – Hotels - Restaurants and Events in Yen Bai. This event marked a new turning point for attracting capital investment of Yen Bai  and also the new step of the Hoa Sen Group.

After that, Hoa Sen Group continued to invest in two other large projects which are  Project of spiritual, ecological, resort and real estate Tourist Zone in Van Hoi Lake ( in Tran Yen district) and Complex Industrial Zone in IC 12 interchange in Bao Hung, Minh Quan Commune in Tran Yen district.

Besides,  Yen Bai Province also attracted many large-scale projects, with investment capital  from a few hundred billions to thousands of billion, Project on constructing Shop - House of Vingroup with registered capital investment of nearly 700 billion; Project on constructing Star Golf  in Dam Hau with an area of ​​195 hectares, a total investment of 683 billion VND; or Project on high – tech breeding, processing rabbit in Thuong Bang La, Van Chan district, by Nippon Zoki Vietnam Company (Japan) with a total investment of over 78.6 million dollars…

At present, projects are poured into Yen Bai, such as Project of Center of  Tourism Introduction Product and Trade Promotion by Chan – Thien – My JSC in IC12 in Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway in Minh Quan with capital investment of 1,707 billion dong...

In particular, in the field of producting and processing agricultural and forestry products, Yen Bai province is implementing the Project of restructuring the agricultural sector with many mechanisms and policies to attract businesses to invest in the agricultural sector in order to improve the quality of the product value and help farmers increase incomes.

In 10/2016, Mu Cang Chai JSC Investment Commerce officially started building the Mountainous Complex Economy with a total investment of 1,250 billion VND in Nam Khat Commune, Mu Cang Chai district. The complex includes factory  produced son tra tea and green tea; biochar; Healthcare  Resort. These projects are vivid proofs to the success of Yen Bai in utilizing State policies for the Northwest region They also are proofs for sustained efforts of Yen Bai province to improve the business and investment environment and attract capital investment for years.

Government accompanies with enterprises

It can be seen, the determination to improve the investment environment, business is very strong from Yen Bai provincial leadership to departments and agencies. The province also established the working group to support businesses and investors such as Investment Attraction Team; Enterprise Development and Difficulty Resolving Team.

Mr Doan Huu Phung - Deputy Director, Department of Planning and Investment said: Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee has established PCI Steering Committee and issued set of indicators and competitiveness levels, departments, branches and localities; The action plan to implement Resolution No.19-2016/ NQ-CP of the Government on improving the business environment, enhancing the competitiveness of the Yen Bai province towards 2020.

Recently, at the conference on investment promotion in Yen Bai, Chairwoman of the Provincial Party Committee, Madam Pham Thi Thanh Tra always emphasizes the message to investors: "Yen Bai will behave with enterprises with all its heart, with the transparency in business environment. "

Especially, in the investment promotion conference, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman replied directly to questions, inquiries of envestors and businessmen. Madam Tra also committed to creating the best conditions for investors to develop in this province.

Madam Tra also said: "With all my heart, with the position as head of the province, I would like to see business successful and happy that is also success and happiness of Yen Bai ".

With non-stopping efforts, in the upcoming years, Yen Bai will certainly continue to attract more large investment projects from domestic and abroad investors.
