At the working session, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee briefly introduced to the delegation about the potentials and advantages of the province; the process of socio-economic development as well as the fields attracting investment such as: quarrying; human resources, especially in the health sector; facilities for medical examination and treatment; digital transformation and pay special attention to attracting investment in strong local agricultural products such as cinnamon and tea.
Mr. Indronil Sengupta - Chairman of INCHAM thanked leaders of Yen Bai province for the warm welcome to the delegation. Mr. Indronil Sengupta said, with the companion of Yen Bai province, Indian enterprises operating in white stone mining in Yen Bai are operating quite effectively, however, just stopping at raw mining, it is necessary to invest in mining and deep processing. Therefore, the delegation wished Yen Bai province would continue to support Indian businesses to invest in Yen Bai province in this field. In addition, the delegation also hoped that the province would consult with ministries, branches and the Government on reducing export tax on blocks and white stone.
For fields such as digital transformation, pharmaceuticals, INCHAM and Indian businesses looked forward to having the opportunity to cooperate with Yen Bai province in the near future. The Chairman of INCHAM said that at present, India is a big importer of cinnamon and tea, so Indian businesses will study policies to be able to invest in this field, along with that will be interested in turning anise products. The delegation wished that Yen Bai province would continue to pay attention and create conditions for Indian businesses to continue to expand their production and business scale in the province; find out information about the investment market, human resources, potentials and strengths of the province in order to cooperate and invest in developing high-quality and productive products to meet the needs of the domestic market and international.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee pledged that Yen Bai province would have preferential policies, support and create the most favorable conditions for businesses to invest and do business in the province.
He said that in the past time, the province had focused on solving difficulties for white stone enterprises, but on tax issues, the province will accept and request the delegation to send comments by documents for the province to send to the central government for consideration and adjustment of the policy accordingly.
