Mayor of Donghae City, Shim Gyu Eon, expressed his joy in welcoming Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, Do Duc Duy, and the provincial working delegation

The Mayor Shim Gyu Eon and leaders of departments and committees of Donghae City received and worked with a delegation

At the working session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Duc Duy provided an overview of the potentials and strengths of Yen Bai Province, as well as proposed some areas in which Donghae City could cooperate and invest in Yen Bai Province.

Mr. Do Duc Duy expressed joy and excitement at the similarities between Yen Bai Province and Donghae City in various areas, especially their shared goal of "the happiness of the people" as the objective, driving force, and development orientation of the localities.

He proposed that Donghae City study and promptly sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Tran Yen District, Yen Bai Province.

During the working session, Mayor Shim Gyu Eon of Donghae City expressed his delight in welcoming Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the provincial delegation for their visit, exchange, and signing of cooperation agreements between the two sides.

Mayor Shim Gyu Eon stated that Donghae City, along with its businesses, is ready to receive labor from Yen Bai province for study and work in the near future, especially highly skilled labor.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Duc Duy expressed sincere gratitude to Mayor Shim Gyu Eon for the warm reception and extended a respectful invitation for the Mayor and the leaders of Donghae City to visit and work in Yen Bai Province soon, in order to expedite the cooperation between the two localities in the coming period.

During the working session, Secretary of the Party Committee of Yen Bai’s Tran Yen district Tran Nhat Tan and Mayor Shim handed over the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in labour and investment in the silk industry.

Next, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Duc Duy and the working delegation visited and worked with the Department of Industry and Trade of Donghae City.

During the working session, officials of the Yen Bai Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and representatives of Donghae’s industry and trade office discussed cooperation in employment and welfare for Vietnamese workers, including those from Yen Bai.

Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Vu Thi Hien Hanh signed an MoU with Gangwon province’s federation of industries.
