In 2023, Văn Yên district has achieved commendable results in production, business development, and investment attraction. The business community and entrepreneurs made significant contributions to the district's development. Throughout the year, the district newly established 38 enterprises, 16 cooperatives, and 67 cooperative groups. The Provincial People's Committee approved investment decisions for three projects, with a total registered capital of VND 765 billion. Out of the total state budget revenue of VND 384.74 billion, businesses contributed approximately VND 147.6 billion, accounting for 77.5% of the total balanced revenue in the district; creating employment opportunities for over 4,000 workers.

 Văn Yên district is committed to closely following and supporting the strong development of economic components, especially the private sector. It aims to promote production along the value chain, based on building close linkages among industry, agriculture, and related service sectors. In 2024, the district consistently holds the viewpoint of providing favorable conditions for businesses and cooperatives to develop rapidly, sustainably, and diversely, with high growth rates in terms of quantity, scale, and quality. It encourages entrepreneurship and business startups, provides support and resolves difficulties for enterprises in investment and business operations, and implements preferential policy mechanisms of the state and the province for businesses. It strives to create a transparent and truly attractive investment and business environment to generate new momentum for production development. Additionally, it seeks to enhance investment attraction, industrial development, and service development in accordance with sectoral and field planning to contribute to the socio-economic development of the district.

At the conference, the Yen Bai Business Association announced the decision to establish the Van Yen Business Association. This is an important event that marks a new development step for the business community in Van Yen district.
