On March 31st, Mrs. Vu Thi Hien Hanh – Vice Chairman of Yen Bai PPC welcomed The Indian Art Troupe led by Dr. Monica Sharma, Director of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre on occasion of the troupe's performance in Yen Bai province.
At the meeting, on behalf of the Indian Art Troupe, Dr. Monica Sharma, representative of the Indian Embassy in Hanoi, thanked Yen Bai province for its warm welcome to the troupe and for its wholehearted support of Yen Bai province for the art performance in Yen Bai. Ms. Monica Sharma believed that the performances of the Indian Art Program expressed through unique dances will leave deep impressions in the hearts of Yen Bai people.
On behalf of the leaders of Yen Bai province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Thi Hien Hanh thanked Dr. Monica Sharma, representative of the Indian Embassy in Hanoi and the artists and actors of the Art Troupe India visited and performed art in Yen Bai province.
In recent years, Yen Bai province has actively expanded multifaceted cooperation with Indian partners. Currently, Yen Bai has 6 operating enterprises of Indian investors and 4 ongoing projects that have made important contributions to the economic and social development of Yen Bai province. In recent years, cultural exchange activities between Yen Bai and India have been organized richly and diversely through exchange programs with art troupes of India and Yen Bai and this is the third time. Yen Bai province welcomes Indian art troupes to perform and cultural exchanges in the province.
Mrs. Vu Thi Hien Hanh wished that, in the art exchange program taking place on the evening of March 31, the Indian and Yen Bai Art Troupes would jointly bring to the people of Yen Bai artistic performances. Unique art with unique features filtered and selected from two cultures. Especially the folk dances with artistic value, identity and imbued with human love from India and the artistic performances imbued with the cultural identity of the ethnic groups of Yen Bai province. He hopes that in the coming time, the Indian Embassy in Hanoi would continue to connect so that Yen Bai and India would have more cultural exchanges.
