On June 25th, The Delegation of Canada Embassy in Vietnam paid a coutersy to Mrs. Vu Thị Hien Hanh – Vice Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People Committee on occatuion the delegation worked in Yen Bai province.
At the working session, Mrs. Vu Thi Hien Hanh expressed her joy and excitement when welcoming the delegation working in Yen Bai. Mrs. Hanh thanked Mr. Brian Allemekinders – Head of Coopcration/Counsellor, Embassy of Canada to Vietnam during his time working in Vietnam, he contributed to promoting the relationship between Vietnam and Canada and the relationship between Yen Bai province and Canadian businesses/organizations. The project "Promoting resilience, inclusiveness and innovation of small and medium enterprises in Yen Bai province - SPRINT" is proof of that.
Mrs. Vu Thi Hien Hanh emphasized on the meaning of SPRINT in Yen Bai and wanted Canada Embassy in Vietnam to continue companying with Yen Bai province in implementing the Project which helps to bring effectiveness to the localities and people in the Project.
Mrs. Vu Thi Hien Hanh also wanted in the coming time, Yen Bai province continues to receive aid from NGO of Canada for disadvantaged localities in Yen Bai to support them in economic development, poverty reduction and solving social issues…. Mrs. Hanh hoped that Canada Embassy to introduced Canadian enterprises about potentials, strengths of Yen Bai province, then they would come here to search the oppoturnities in business.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Brian Allemekinders thanked Yen Bai leaders for warmly welcome for the delegation. He also promised that he and his colleagues in Canada Embassy continued to push-up the Project.
Previously, the delegation had a working session with relevant departments, branches and localities of Yen Bai province to update the progress of completing project documents, coordination and support for project approval and implementation in the coming time; preparation work and annual plan of the SPRINT Project.
