On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), in the afternoon of July 18, the delegation from Yen Bai province led by Mr. Ta Van Long, Permanent Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and presented gifts to revolutionary contributors in Yen Binh district.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dương Thị Cúc in Ngòi Bang hamlet, Bảo Ái commune. Mother Cúc has 8 children, two of whom are sons who sacrificed in the resistance war against America.
The delegation also visited and presented gifts to revolutionary contributors in Đại Đồng commune, including Mr. Đặng Ngọc Chìu who participated in the resistance war and was infected with chemical agents in Đá Chồng hamlet; Mr. Phạm Quang Trung, a third/fourth degree war invalid in Hương Lý hamlet; and Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Hảo, the wife of martyr Dương Văn Thuyết in Làng Đát hamlet.
Mr. Ta Van Long kindly inquired about their lives, encouraged and shared about the lives of policy households and revolutionary contributors in the district. He hoped that the families will uphold the revolutionary traditions, set good examples in socio-economic development, actively participate in and support local activities, and be shining examples for others to follow.
Mr. Ta Van Long also requested that levels and sectors of authorities continue paying attention, assisting and creating the best conditions for the families to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
