Yen Bai Province has visited and supported families with deceased or missing individuals, providing assistance of VND 25 million per person. The province has also offered support to those seriously injured due to the storm, floods, and landslides who are receiving treatment at the provincial general hospital and local healthcare centers, with assistance of VND 5 million per person; temporary support of VND 40 million per household has been given to 100% of families whose houses have completely collapsed; VND 20 million has been allocated for those with severely damaged homes.
Yen Bai province has prepared medical supplies and arranged for doctors and nurses to provide care for residents in evacuation centers and local areas. Temporary accommodation and essential supplies have been provided to households affected by the disaster to stabilize their lives. Measures have been implemented to stabilize commodity prices and ensure an adequate supply of essential goods, as well as fuel for residents and machinery. Efforts are also underway to restore the electricity supply for all households that lost power.
Currently, Yen Bai Province continues to review and seek land to arrange new housing for families whose homes were washed away or completely collapsed and need to be urgently relocated. The province is committed to effectively implementing support policies for vulnerable groups and those affected by natural disasters, focusing on social security policies. Resources will be coordinated scientifically and reasonably to help residents quickly stabilize their lives after the floods.
