The socio-economic situation in the first two months of the year continued to develop steadily. Many economic indicators showed significant growth compared to the same period in 2024, including: Forest planting; Industrial production index; Industrial production value; Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue; Number of tourist arrivals; Revenue from tourism activities; Export value of goods; State budget revenue...

Cultural and social aspects continued to receive attention and care. The quality of education and training, as well as public health services improved; vocational training and employment solutions, along with social welfare policies, were being effectively implemented.

National defense and security remained stable, with no significant or complex issues arising in the area. Efforts to refine institutions and streamline organizational structures were being carried out decisively.

In concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Chairman of the Provincial People's  Committee urged all sectors to implement the socio-economic development tasks and solutions in a synchronized, decisive, and effective manner. He emphasized the importance of mobilizing all economic sectors, businesses, and citizens to participate in socio-economic development, aiming for a growth target of 8.2% in 2025, with favorable conditions potentially reaching 10.5%. He also called for the completion of the review of resolutions, directives, and projects issued by the province to promptly establish mechanisms, policies, and proposals within 2025, ensuring coherence and unity for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Review the tasks that need focused direction for the second quarter; closely monitor the situation and effectively carry out forecasting and prediction tasks. Adhere to the assigned scenarios to identify key focal tasks on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for concentrated direction and management. Clearly assign responsibilities, outlining specific individuals, tasks, timelines, accountabilities, and expected outcomes; be bold in thinking, acting, and taking responsibility.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh urged relevant agencies, units, and localities involved in restructuring organizational frameworks to ensure effective communication with civil servants, stabilize the organization and personnel quickly, and fully issue regulations regarding functions, tasks, and working rules. They should assign and arrange staff, allocate tasks, and set up working offices to continue ongoing work without interruption or oversight. Closely monitor and promptly address any obstacles or difficulties arising during the consolidation and merger processes. Ensure effective handover of assets, and timely reception of finances, assets, and documents after restructuring, in accordance with regulations on state secrecy and related laws.

Evaluate the progress of the project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing in the area to ensure timely completion; expedite the disbursement of public investment capital and implement the three national target programs; adhere closely to the budget collection scenario and the plan for utilizing land funds for budget revenue from the beginning of the year to ensure the revenue plan for 2025 is met.
