In early 2025, the OCOP program recorded its first successes when 3 OCOP products were upgraded to 4 stars, including products from Yen Binh district and 2 products from Tran Yen district. This shows the province's special investment and attention to the OCOP program, as well as the increasingly improved quality of the subjects. Following the success, the brand "Dai Lao Vuong Tra Suoi Giang" continues to affirm its position when 04 high-class tea products (Hong Tra, Hoang Tra, Diep Tra and Bach Tra) all achieved 4-star standards after the re-evaluation process.

This is a clear demonstration of the superior quality and stability of Suoi Giang tea products, helping the Yen Bai tea brand reach further in the market. By the end of February 2025, Yen Bai was proud to own 268 certified OCOP products, of which 28 products achieved 4 stars and 240 products achieved 3 stars. The six main product groups of Yen Bai OCOP include: Food (201 products), decorative handicrafts (15 products), herbs (21 products), beverages (14 products), rural tourism services and sales (16 products), ornamental plants (1 product). This product structure not only demonstrates the diversity of Yen Bai's rural economy, but also shows the potential for comprehensive and sustainable development of the OCOP program in the province.
