Mr. Do Duc Duy –Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Mr. Ta Van Long - Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments: Planning and Investment, Construction; Transportation; Natural Resources and Environment and the People's Committee of Yen Bai City worked with the delegation.

At the working session, Mr. Do Duc Duy introduced briefly about Yen Bai province, strengths and potentials of Yen Bai. The Chairman informed that at present Yen Bai province has been adjusting the projects of “the overall plan for socio-economic development up to 2020, vision to 2030” with the aim of making Yen Bai  to become a fast-growing and sustainable province and become a  a relatively developed province in the midland and mountainous northern. The province also adjusted and added plans for relevant sectors and branches.

For Yen Bai city’s adjustment plan, the province wanted to choose an experienced consultant organization to carry out the adjustment plan. After approving, the adjustment plan of Yen Bai city will orient the development and be the basis to deploy investment and investment projects.  Accordingly, the development of Yen Bai city is a motive force for the provincial development and then spreading to other other districts, towns and provinces

Mr. Do Duc Duy – Chairman of Yen Bai PPC introduced about Yen Bai strengths and potentials.

Chairman of Yen Bai province emphasized that Nikken Sekkei Construction Engineering Co., Ltd is known as company with capacity and experience in construction activities, especially in urban planning in many countries in the world. In Vietnam, the company has consulted to make many major urban planning and construction projects such as in Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Nghe An and many other localities.

Although Yen Bai is a poor province, the province owns many potential and  strengths in natural resources and minerals as well as in agriculture and forestry. And Yen Bai province has many differences compared to other provinces in the area. This is an opportunity for consultants to research, create and expploit about the potentials of Yen Bai province. Therefore, Yen Bai province is pleased to welcome Nikken Sekkei Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. as one of the candidates to participate in the project of urban planning adjustment.

Mr. Hideki Asami, Chairman of NSC Board of Directors shared the result on construction of Nikken Sekkei Construction Engineering Co., Ltd in Vietnam. Mr. Hideki Asami emphasized Japan is a developed country. During implementing the mission, the Company has brought all the valuable experience in the socio-economic development of Japan to contribute to Vietnam. Mr. Hideki also emphasized that Yen Bai is a potential province and his company would like to have the opportunity to bring its experiences to contribute to Yen Bai province, bringing Yen Bai province into a sustainable development province.

The members of delegation also wanted to participate in the project of the projects of “the overall plan for socio-economic development up to 2020, vision to 2030” in order to attract foreign investment which contributes to promoting socio-economy of Yen Bai in near future.
