Thac Ba lake - one of the most interesting destinations in Yen Bai province.

According to the Program, Yen Binh district has been striving to attract 1.5 million visitors of which about 8,000 foreign visitors; each visitor stays 1.8-2 day; Income from tourism and services reach 1.5 - 2.5 VND billion/year.

The district will have 40 accommodations for tourism with  more than 550 beds (this digit doubles compared to 2015); More than four hotels of 3-5 star standard; Over one thousands people work directly and indirectly in the tourism – service sector; From 30 - 40% of workers will be trained about tourism.

Yen Binh district attempts to make tourism become an important economic sector to create motivation for Yen Binh to shift economy towards industrialization - service – agriculture. The district gradually builds tourism brand "Yen Binh - attractive and friendly destination "; maintaining  harmoness in developing economy, society and environment toward cultural tourism – history, ecological tourism. conserve, restore and promote the value of tourism resources.

To achieve this goal, Yen Binh district has given 5 key tasks including: concentrating on investment in infrastructure to call for investment in tourism development; Improving the quality of tourism products and forming some local characteristic products; Strengthening investment promotion, tourism promotion, building brand "Yen Binh –attractive and friendly"; Improving the quality of human resources in tourism;  Protecting natural resources and tourism environment. 

Parally, Yen Binh district has proposed solutions, including: Strengthening the communication and raising awareness of the party committees, governments, unions, sections about role and importance of tourism in economy – society development strategy; Using state budget capital in investment  to attract projects for developing tourism; Fully implementing the preferential investment policies, investment promotion, ground clearance, assistance to provide information, training of human resources, reform administrative procedures…Completing land  planning  for investment projects in tourism and evaluating business activities related to environment
