The opening ceremony of the Yen Bai Tourism Year will be held magnificently and attractively

The opening ceremony consists of two parts: the celebration and the festival. Accordingly, the festival is a special art show reproducing the history of land and people of Yen Bai, bringing the audience to the famous tourist sites of the province. New features and highlights of the Opening Ceremony is a special art program with the participation of many leading artists in Vietnam; The combination of  the traditional music and dance with the contemporary art, the sound performance combined with the light promising majesty, attraction, which will create a resonance between the performers, viewers.

The opening ceremony of Yen Bai Tourism Year will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV2), on Yen Bai Radio and Television Station and Radio and Television Station in the northern provinces.

This is a main cultural and tourist event of the province in order to introduce potentials and strengths of Yen Bai tourism and special local tourism products to tourists; at the same time honor and promote the traditional cultural values, the unique feature of nature and people in Yen Bai, beginning the chain of tourism activities in Yen Bai province.

Along with the opening ceremony is the seminar on introducting and investment promotion of tourism products of Yen Bai province opened at 8 am on May 19 at the Provincial Conference Center, to promote, introduce potentials to develop tourism and tourist sites, typical tourist products of Yen Bai province; Connecting tours, routes to serve domestic and foreign tourists.

Festival of Practicing religion on worshiping  Mau Thuong Ngan and Fair of introducing cinnamon products will be held in two days from May 20 to May 21 in Dong Cuong Temple area, Dong Cuong commune in Van Yen district.

The Khau Pha Paragliding Festival is held from May 13 to May14  and from 20 to May 21, 2017, at Khau Pha Pass area in Mu Cang Chai District.

After the activities in the opening ceremony, the tourism year of Yen Bai province will follow the attractive tour and  tourist routes in the middle of September and October of 2017, especially the Week of Culture - Tourism in Muong Lo; visiting the National scenic sites of terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai; Community-based tourism; adventure tourism in Nghia Lo town, Van Chan, Tram Tau, Mu Cang Chai districts; exploring Thac Ba Lake with Dai Minh Pomelo Festival and boat race on Thac Ba Lake.
