"Hau Dong" at Dong Cuong temple

Festival of Practicing religion on worshiping Mau Thuong Ngan includes the main contents: Opening Festival program starts at 8 p.m on May 20, 2017. At the opening ceremony there will be activities such as offering souvenirs, specific products of the district and Dong Cuong Temple to the associations, sponsors and enterprises participating in the Festival and performing the models worshiping Mau.

Carnaval of processing the symbol of Mau Thuong Ngan with the activities of  processing symbols, props, images of the religious system of Mau religion, from 8:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m om May 21, 2017, form the stage to the main are of the temple.

Performing art shows “Hau Dong” will take place in the morning, evening, at night of May 20 - May 21, 2017 at the main area of the temple and the main stage.

In addition, there is a photo exhibition with paintings on the theme of Mau Thuong Ngan Dong Cuong, Van Yen festivals, cultural and artistic beliefs in Van Yen,  land and people in  Van Yen in particular and in Yen Bai in general. This activity will be opened at 8:00 am - 9:00 pm on May 20.

The local Fair to introduce cinnamon products in Van Yen district is also a special activity in the Festival, which will show the achievements of the Cinnamon industry and many other activities. Besides, there is also an exhibition area for cinnamon products of enterprises in the district and outside of the district; the area is for artisan to display the skills to make products from cinnamon; the showcase to introduce typical products of Van Yen district and communes and towns in the district; the showcases from other districts, towns and cities in the province.
