Boating on the Thac Ba lake, visitors not only feel the cool air from the water, the wind from Thac lake, but also commune with nature.

After lighting an incense at Mau Temple and praying for the serene heart, tourists continue to explore the wonderful beauty of stalactites and stalagmites hiding human aspirations in the limestone caves on the lake such as Thuy Tien cave, Xuan Long cave, Bach Xa cave, Thac Ba, Thac Ong  ...

Cao Bien Mountain is the largest and longest mountain range of Thac Ba lake. Standing on the peak of Cao Bien in the morning or waiting for sunset on the lake is nothing more interesting. Visitors will be able to watch the view, feel the majestic beauty of the nature, the shimmering of the land, which is the interference between the Northwest and North Midlands, the gateway of  the Northwest.

Sitting on the canoe to go against the current of Chay river, tourists come to Luc Yen and visit famous landscapes, such as Sao pagoda, Dai Cai temple …and admire the magic of the natural gemstone paintings by talented workers.

Recognized as a Cultural Heritage Site since September 1996, Thac Ba Lake has the advantages of geographic location, located on the center of Ha Noi-Lao Cai. The villages along the lake still preserve the original features and cultural characteristics of the Tay, Nung, Mong, Dao, Phu La and Cao Lan ethnic groups are still preserved. The traditional festivals, The individuality of cultural customs of each ethnic group is still an attraction for tourists to visit, and explore Thac Ba.
