Besides, implementing programme of improving  the quality of producting, processing and trading under Resolution No 2 of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, some high - yield, high-quality tea trees such as LDP1, LDP2, Phuc Van Tien, Bat Tien, Shan tuyet…to replace the old tree types.

In addition, the province continues to mobilize people to actively invest in planning tea trees and apply VietGAP production process to help farmers change their perception in planning, collecting and preserving tea buds to gradually change the quality and value of tea products. Yen Bai province is also known for great potential of the cinamon area of nearly 60 thounsands of hectares, the annual output of cinnamon oil is over 600 tons. Along with that, Muong Lo field with area of over 2 thousand hectares which is the second largest field in the Northwest,  is famous for its delicious rice such as:Seng Cu, Chiem Huong ... This province is also famous for sticky rice such as: Tu Le, Bach Ha … which are all traditional rice specialty …
