In the first seven months of the year, the province's socio-economic development indicators remained basically stable. Industrial production value (2010 prices) is estimated at VND 4,820 billion (accounting for 53.5% of the year plan, up 6% over the same period of 2016); State budget revenue is estimated at VND 1,170 billion (accounting for 57.1% of the yearly estimate, up 11.8% over the same period of 2016); Export value of goods is estimated at 58.4 million USD (accounting for 58.4% of the plan, up 32.4% over the same period of 2016) ... In 7 months, the province issued investment decisions for 25 projects (up 10 projects over the same period of 2016) with the total registered capital of VND 9,552 billion. The province granted business registration certificates to 115 newly established enterprises with a total registered capital of nearly VND 1,010 trillion. The province has 1,692 enterprises, 337 cooperatives, 16,889 business households.

In the general development of Yen Bai province, there is active contribution of enterprises in the province. Enterprises contributed nearly VND 470 billion, accounting for 50% of the province's total revenue, creating jobs for 31,500 employees, average income of workers from 4.5-5 million per month. Many businesses have overcome difficulties, activities go in-depth, expand production. Many fields have praiseworthy signs, good growth over the same period last year as white stone, building bricks, cinnamon oil, wood plywood ...

Yen Bai province has focused on administrative reform, improving the investment environment, creating the best conditions for enterprises to operate in the province. Along with the simplification of procedures, shortening the establishment time to a maximum of two days, reducing 50% of the time to solve administrative procedures for investment under the authority of the provincial People's Committee, the provincial People's Committee often meets enterprises, organizes "Coffee entrepreneurs - Government accompanies enterprises", through which the province timely solve difficulties, listen to opinions from enterprises, develop policies in accordance with the reality,  create conditions for enterprises to develop, set up a task force led by the chairman of the provincial People's Committee to grasp and solve difficulties of the enterprise, …

With the steps, aggressive actions with the high determination to build a tectonic, service government, by 2020, Yen Bai strives to have about 1,900 enterprises and about 370 cooperatives operating, the total mobilization rate of provincial product (GRDP) on the budget increases to 10.5%, create new jobs for about 17,000 laborers per year.

At "Coffee entrepreneurs” program, the chairman of the provincial People's Committee emphasied:

"The vision of the province is to support all enterprises of all economic sectors, in which, according to the policy of the Government, priority to support small and medium enterprises and private enterprises. The province is committed to assist enterprises in establishing procedures, guiding business registration, making investment projects, applying state preferential policies, supporting research and accessing legal provisions. ... ensuring all businesses equal, healthy."

He affirmed that in the coming time, Yen Bai province will continue to implement measures to remove difficulties for enterprises in the spirit of Resolution 19 and  Resolution 35 of the Government, promote administrative reform, raise Provincial Competitiveness Index ... Instruct the departments and branches to strictly implement the policies of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee in reforming administrative procedures, improving business investment environment and supporting business; Intensify information exchange and reception from enterprises and entrepreneurs in the localities and promptly solve problems faced by enterprises; Regularly remind, inspect and supervise cadres and civil servants directly performing administrative procedures, directly dealing with enterprises, directly advising on investment projects of enterprises to avoid taking advantage of their positions to cause troubles, difficulties for enterprises.
