For the past years, Yen Bai province has exploited potentials, strengths for developing economy and society; issued investment attraction policies; pushed up administrative reform; improve comparativeness capacity; invested in constructing infrastructure; supported for enterprises to renew technology; trained skilled labours; seeked for market; built production brands…The investment improvement in the province gained many effective achievements; Many products and specialities of Yen Bai province have been promoted, introduced through distribution channels to local and outside the province.

The conference connectting “supply-demand” Yen Bai in 2017 was held to create favourable conditions for expanding market, promoting products, connecting between producers and suppliers, creating stable consumption market for Yen Bai’s products and attracting investment into the province's production

Stating at the Conference, Mr. Ta Van Long - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee wished that through the conference connecting the supply and demand of Yen Bai would connect manufacturers with distribution system; strengthening trade in products and goods of Yen Bai in particular and other provinces and cities in general; create conditions for enterprises and economic organizations inside and outside the province to display, introduce products; sign  economic contracts and memorandums of understanding on supplying and buying products.

Mr.Ta Van Long asked the authorities at all levels and sectors to focus on promoting administrative reform and supporting mechanisms to encourage businesses to access resources; Renovate and develop technologies to assist production enterprises in the region in building a distribution system, promoting cooperation in investment in production, supply and consumption of goods, expanding market. Enterprises should have long-term development strategy to improve the quality of traditional products, focus on building brands and trademarks which are the competitive advantages of the province.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing, exchanging experiences, promoting trade, promoting cooperation in investment in production, supply and consumption of goods, expanding development. They also discussed measures to boost the trade promotion and trade links between localities to achieve higher efficiency in the coming time.

At the conference, 6 contracts and 9 memoranda of understanding were signed between enterprises of Yen Bai province and outside businesses.
