Specifically, the Department of Taxation has stepped up the application of information technology in submitting declaration and payment of electronic tax; Building a centralized database and conducting electronic tax declaration and payment for business households; Application of information technology in electronic tax refund.

Updating new tax policies, tax laws and at the “one door” section and the website of the Department of Taxation; Simplifying and proposing to abolish the administrative procedures which are no longer appropriate. 

At the same time, the Provincial Tax Department creates information on the website of the Department of Taxation to support start-up enterprises to receive and handle requirements of start-up enterprises. 

Connecting and mobilizing  these organizations to commit to free, reduced-price services within a certain timeframe. After 4 months of implementation, nearly 250 turns of start-up enterprises were supported. Accordingly, the tax branch has dropped and simplified many unnecessary procedures, reducing the frequency of tax declaration and payment.

Especially, information technology applications such as tax declaration, online tax return, electronic tax payment, electronic tax refund… has helped enterprises and people reduce the time and tax payment procedures. As a result, the tax department reduced the time taken to implement the administrative procedure from 537 to just 117 hours.

With efforts to improve taxation in general and reform administrative procedures in particular, the Yen Bai Tax Department has contributed positively to improving the PCI of the province.
