By the end of 2016, Yen Bai has 388 investment projects with total registered capital of over 52.195 trillion dong and 201.9 million US dollars. With a total investment capital of up to 4.994 trillion dong, the EDGE GLASS factory will start construction on Feb 3^rd, 2018 in Bao Hung commune, Tran Yen district. This is a large-scale FDI project that will attract the largest number of laborers and contribute to the state budget deployed in Yen Bai province up to now.

Expected to be completed in April 2016, the EDGE GLASS factory is built on an area of ​​6.49 hectares with designed capacity of 54 million products per year with products Cover Glass. 2D small, 3D type for phone and the large 2D Glass Cover for tablets. This is the project of manufacturing telephone accessories for Sam Sung phones. After putting into use, the factory will promise to increase the provincial budget.

Another major project will be put into operation in April  2018 is Hoa Sen Steel Pipe Plant. With an estimated investment capital of  more than 1 billion VND, on an area of ​​20 ha in Minh Quan and Bao Hung communes, Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province. Once completed and put into operation, it will contribute significantly to local budgets and create jobs for nearly 400 employees.
