Enterprises of Guangxi (China) and Yen Bai (Vietnam) signed the memorandum of Understanding for cooperation

At the meeting, the leader of the Department of Industry and Trade introduced the potentials, strengths of the province, emphasizing the source of raw materials for agricultural, forestry and mineral product processing industries for development of the mining industry. In addition, Yen Bai province has also developed some valuable specialties such as Suoi Giang tea, Son Tra fruit, Tu Le sticky rice, processed tea, cassava starch, cinnamon essential oil, white limestone, sawn stone, iron ore, porcelain insulator.

In recent years, Yen Bai province has had many preferential mechanisms and policies to attract enterprises, such as tax exemption, land rent, investment in transport,  electricity and water infrastructure… It has attracted many big projects of investors from Korea, India, Japan and China. After this meeting, the leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade wished enterprises in Yen Bai and Guangxi will establish and develop long-term, reliable and effective partnerships.

At the meeting, Guangxi enterpreises expressed sincerely thanks to Yen Bai government creating conditions for businesses in two localities to have the opportunity to discuss and share experiences in trading and exchanging opportunities for investment cooperation. Chinese enterprises said that the potentials, strengths and policies of the province have been in accordance with the investment policy of enterprises.

Enterprises of the two localities also provided information about their business activities as well as strengths that enterprises are investing in and producing, and wished to receive the attention and support from the authorities of two localities in the coming time to carry out activities of investment cooperation, product consumption, focusing on some areas such as tea production, production flavors of medicinal plants; producing and processing agricultural and forest products, especially wood processing, cinnamon essential oil, stone exploitation and production of stone powder.

After the meeting, enterprises of Guangxi (China) and Yen Bai (Vietnam) signed four memoranda of cooperation on investment and consumption of products such as cinnamon tea, tea, cassava starch, wood from plantation forest.
