YBP - Implementing the Resolution No.35 of the Executive Board of the provincial party session XVIII, the plan No.197 dated 27/12/2016 of the People's Committee of Yen Bai Province to promote the development of tourism in Yen Bai province in 2016 - 2020, with a vision to 2025, the attraction of investment in tourism development has been paid attention by Yen Bai, thereby gaining positive results, contributing to changing the face of the province.

From the potentials, strengths and policies to attract investment, many domestic corporations and enterprises have invested in commercial tourism in the province. Typically, Vingroup Group has built Vincom Plazza Yen Bai Trading Center with a total investment capital of 700 billion VND. This is the largest commercial project in Yen Bai city, contributing to raising and bringing Yen Bai city to develop a more modern city.
Hoa Sen Group with the Commercial, Service Center, Hotel, Restaurant and Event Center project in Yen Bai started in late May 2016, with a total investment of 1.200 billion VND. This is the first real estate, service and tourism project of Hoa Sen Group. The project consists of a 15-storey building with a total floor area of 74,410 m2, built into a complex providing a variety of items such as commercial center, 4-star hotel, conference center, banquet restaurant wedding, cafe, apartment. At present, the work is being urgently completed the four-star low-rise hotel, commercial center, convention center, restaurant, cafe, multi-functional parking lot.
Phase 2, from June 2019 to June 2020, will complete the remaining items of the project include: four-star high-rise hotel, widen 4-star low-rise hotel, apartment. When the project is completed and put into operation, it promises to bring significant changes to Yen Bai city in particular and Yen Bai province in general, contributing to awakening the potentials and promoting Yen Bai tourism to become the key economic sector of the province in the future.
Along with developing commercial tourism in the provincial, a number of tourism projects in localities are also being implemented. In particular, investment project to build An Binh resort on the area of Thac Ba lake in Tan Huong commune, Yen Binh district of Trade Development and Investment Co., Ltd. (ITD), with the investment cost until the end of 2017 is 35 billion VND. Currently the contractor has built 2,000 m2 service house, 500 m2 internal road. It is expected that by the end of 2018, the reception area, resorts, mini hotels will be established ... to exploit the potentials and strengths of Thac lake - Ha Long in the mountain.
In the western districts of the province, a number of projects have been initially invested to awaken the potentials and advantages, such as: Ecolodge Ecotourism Resort is located in Hua Khat village, Nam Khat commune, Mu Cang Chai district; Tu Le ecological tourism area in Van Chan district and tourist sites in Mu Cang Chai district of Thinh Dat Green Tourism Development Joint Stock Company. The total area of the project is about 15 hectares, including the ecological tourist area of Tu Le commune, Van Chan district; Waterfall at Pu Cang village, Nam Khat commune; Thac Mo in Mo De commune; The old stone village of Lao Chai commune, Mu Cang Chai district.
In the period 2016-2025, Yen Bai strives to mobilize over 11 trillion VND of investment capital for tourism infrastructure and cultural and tourist institutions; In particular, attracting capital from enterprises and socialization is 10,000 billion VND. From the implementation solutions, tourism infrastructure of the province is being built by the province and investors, thus awakening the potentials, contributing to the socio-economic development as well as the face of the province.
